The dolphins are a social animal, and tend to swim in pods rather than alone. There are several males in each pod, and the members of the pods vary from day to day. These playful animals often engage in elaborate "team games" with one another. There is a definite structure to these play periods, with what appears to be elaborate rules of conduct. This pod of Spotted Dolphins was photographed in the Grand Banks of the Bahamas.
