This beautiful pair of Chromodoris elizabethina nudibranchs was photographed near Mabul Island in Malaysia. Although both sexes are present in a single nudibranch, they must mate in pairs, and these two may have had such an encounter soon after I left. Nudibranchs are tiny animals, closely related to snails.
